Dr. Elif Akbay

Our Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery Specialist Op.Dr.Elif Akbay, 

After graduating from Gazi University Faculty of Medicine, he completed his specialty training at Ankara Dışkapı Yıldırım Beyazıt Training and Research Hospital. Akbay started his career at Amasya Sabuncuoğlu Şerefeddin Training and Research Hospital and then worked at Ankara Gülhane Training and Research Hospital. Afterwards, he served at Private Çağsu Hospitals in Bolu and Düzce.

He is currently serving as an Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery Specialist within our hospital.

He contributed to the international arena by presenting papers titled "Adipofascial Flap in Tissue Defect of the Forearm" and "Spitzoid Melanoma" at the 10th BAPRAS Congress held in Belgrade, Serbia in 2017. He also presented "Primary Neuroendocrine Tumor: Case Study" at the Balkan Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery Congress in Belgrade.

At the national level, he presented many papers at the 37th and 38th National Congresses of the Turkish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. Among these papers were "Dorsal Adipofascial Flap Usage in Forearm Soft Tissue Defect: Case Presentation", "Rare Variant of Malignant Melanoma: Spitzoid Melanoma Case Presentation", and "Neglected Long-Term Arch Bar Complication: Case Presentation".

Finally, he presented important papers such as "Scaphoid Subluxation-Related Extensor Tendon Rupture", "Malignant Proliferative Trichilemmal Tumor: Case Presentation" and "Delayed Infection Case Obtained with Own Oral Flora".

Elif Akbay serves as an experienced plastic surgeon who has made significant scientific contributions in her specialty at national and international level.
